You know what the ruling parties of Germany need to do about this, and I’m being completely serious here. They need to do a good job. Nothing puts these guys down like a noticably increased standard of living, while making it clear that the “problems” they blame for the real problems are non issues.

Dude had the weakest mandate since Donald Trump, and if you ignore Donald Trump, he had the weakest mandate since Bush’s first term, who had the weakest mandate since John Quincy Adams. Calling it a “mandate” is over reading it. The last president who had an actual mandate was Obama, and he failed to live up to it.
