While I agree that generalized statement “don’t feed the trolls” is valid, it’s completely unacceptable that a sitting US President acts in such a way and must be called out for the insanity that he suggests/causes. Sitting quietly, not being vocal, can be interpreted as compliance.

Yeah, there’s a significant difference between not giving some rando on the internet attention, and warning the general populace that the leader of one of the mightiest nations on Earth is a greater loon than they can imagine.
