Speculation of Tesla CEO’s possible departure comes as his influence in the administration appears to wane
This won’t save Tesla.
There is literally only one thing that could save Tesla, but he’s a raging sociopathic narcissist and would never actually cede control. Best case scenario, he pretends to leave but still directs the company.
He made his Nazi bed. He gets to lay in it.
Even if he backs away from politics, the protests and boycotts should continue until it burns a hole in his net worth. After the damage he did, he doesn’t deserve to walk away and absolve himself of consequences.
Don’t let that distract from the fact his is still trying to get billions in kickbacks for SpaceX.
So he’s saying we’re winning.
Push harder boys, maybe we can drive him out of public life altogether.
