Honestly don’t think they should be banned, what I would be ok with is banning cheap stamped aluminium crap that is mass produced at a low quality.

If you want one you should be paying for a blacksmith to make it properly, or becoming a blacksmith and making it yourself. IIRC that was roughly what the UK law was at some point although not sure where its at currently.
