Israeli troops on Sunday brought the pro-Palestinian activist boat Handala into the port of Ashdod after seizing the vessel in international waters and detaining the crew. The Freedom Flotilla Coalition, which organised the mission, said 21 international activists and journalists were detained after the vessel was “violently intercepted”.
