The former president can’t adequately rebut the age issue, and it’s led to accusations of a cover-up. His former allies are lost in the mix, writes John Bowden

    DNC leadership

    Well, it’s a new chair…

Prior to DNC chair he was Minnesota’s state chair for a while, and I encourage you to look at how that worked out.

    Spoilers:

He runs fair primaries which results in progressives making it to the general and turning a battleground state into one of the most progressive ones.

But like, he’s answered this himself when talking about how the DNC works with state parties:

Under the DNC’s new State Partnership Program, the Utah Democratic Party, along with state parties in other red states, will receive $22,500 a month from the DNC.

“We know that with the investment of time, energy and money, a red state can become a purple state and then eventually a blue state,” he said, later adding, “It’s not for charity’s sake, just to give money to the state party, it’s actually to help build the infrastructure we need to actually win elections and meet the moment.”

If you don’t know about what the “victory fund” was really all about I can go on a rant about it, but the switch from that to this is fucking huge.
